The Virginia native entered the Music Entertainment industry
in 2005 as Day Manager for Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, member of Multi-
Platinum, Grammy-nominated, R&B trio, “Sisters With Voices”, better known as SWV.
Cory supported Coko in the production of her first Gospel album,
“Grateful,” which received a Grammy nomination. In 2008, he accelerated
to the role of full-time manager during the production of her second Gospel
album “The Winner in Me.” Impressed by his professionalism, leadership
and tenacity, SWV hired him as its full-time manager.
Cory also served as full time manager for Kameelah ”Meelah” Williams
former lead singer of “702” and was very instrumental in securing her on
the last season TVOne R&B Divas Atlanta.
Cory fused his passion for music and artist development and founded 21
Voices Entertainment, a management consulting and entertainment
agency. He was instrumental in securing a new album deal for SWV at Mass
Appeal/E1 Entertainment in 2011 and the SWV brand; which includes
business relations, international, national and regional travels;
performances, recordings and daily activities. Over the years, Cory has
supported and secured music business for Keith Sweat, Kelly Price,
Changing Faces, Lisa Page Brooks, Isaac Carree, R.L. of Next, TWEET,
BLACKSTREET, Faith Evans, and 112, JIM JONES, Carl Thomas, Fantasia,
Musiq Soul Child, Shanice Wilson and Meelah of 702.
In 2010, Cory founded “R&B Nights” now known as “RnB Spotlight” a
monthly showcase hosted monthly at the legendary SOB’s in NYC. The
purpose of “Spotlight” is to open the curtain of opportunity for the next
superstars to be discovered. This platform gave an opportunity to
showcase their talents and gain local and national exposure in the R&B
community. Chart-topping superstars have headlined the showcase,
including SWV, Kenny Lattimore, R.L. of 90’s R&B group Next; Meelah of
702, LaTocha Scott of Xscape, Mario Winans, Dru Hill, Sunshine Anderson,
Faith Evans and more.
Cory recently teamed up with Grammy Award winner Faith Evans to
develop and produce several up coming docuseries together.
Cory currently serves as an ambassador for American Stroke Association
and participated in a national commercial to promote stroke awareness.
Cory is also an advisor to the G.E.T. Empowered Community Development
Corporation for their annual Back to School Give-A-Away which services
thousands of financially deprived families yearly..
Cory also is the founder of RnB Spotlight in NYC, an exclusive showcase of national and local R&B artists, fusing old and new school flavors. Chart-topping superstars have headlined past shows including Musiq Soul Child, SWV, DRUHILL, Tweet, Mario Winans, Meelah of 702, Lil’ Mo, Glenn Lewis, DAY 26, Latocha Scott of Xscape, Kenny Lattimore, Sisqo, RL Of Next, QParker of 112, Faith Evans, Carl Thomas, Monifah, Sunshine Anderson, Marsha Ambrosius, Avery Wilson and many more!
